Fully comprehensive hire car insurance

Discover the Mayan temples, dive into the Gulf of Mexico and bathe in glorious sunshine: with a rental car and brimming with anticipation, you and your partner embark on your three-week round trip. In the very first week, you have a traffic accident on the way to the beach. Fortunately, nobody is injured, but it does cause considerable damage to the bodywork. You notify the local police about the accident, and the car hire company draws up a damage report. Since you paid the rental for your hire car with your credit card, the damage is covered in full.

What if you’ve hired a car and now it has sustained material damage? Fully comprehensive hire car insurance provides compensation for material damage to hired cars caused by theft or damage by third parties.
The insurance covers hired passenger cars for the transport of up to nine people.
The following prerequisites must be met for the insurance to provide cover:
  • The insured person must be named in the rental agreement as a registered driver and must be at least 21 years of age and no older than 80 years of age.
  • The rental period is no longer than 60 days.
  • At least 60% of the costs for the rental vehicle were paid for with a valid Viseca credit card.

The insurance is included in the annual fee for your Viseca card and does not cause any additional costs.
