Our travel accident insurance covers occupational and non-occupational accidents and accident-related injuries that occur during a business trip. Accidents resulting in invalidity or death are covered for a maximum of CHF 600 000 per incident and person.

For business trips at least 50% of which were paid for with the Business Card Gold, cancellation and any rebooking costs are covered up to CHF 10'000 per event and person.

What if you have to shorten, interrupt or extend your trip? If you paid for at least 60% of the trip with your credit card, you are insured against unforeseen events during the trip. The insurance reimburses you for the costs of the unused part of your trip as well as additional costs for the return trip and accommodation up to CHF 30 000 per event.

If a medical emergency occurs while you are travelling abroad, our 24-hour medical travel assistance service offers the help you need and assumes the costs of your return trip, return transport and repatriation as well as medical treatment up to 500 000 per event. 

In order to receive compensation, the trip must not last longer than 90 days.

In future, you can start every trip feeling relaxed and secure, because your luggage is insured against damage, theft, loss and delay for the duration of your trip for up to CHF 5 000 per year.

If your hire car is stolen or damaged and an excess is payable, the collision damage excess waiver covers any excess up to CHF 100 000 and CHF 10 000 per incident.

Fully comprehensive hire car insurance provides compensation for material damage to hired cars caused by theft, damage, fire and vandalism by third parties up to CHF 100 000.- per event.
