What if you have to shorten, interrupt or extend your trip? If you paid for at least 60% of the trip with your credit card, you are insured against unforeseen events during the trip. The insurance reimburses you for the costs of the unused part of your trip as well as additional costs for the return trip and accommodation up to CHF 7 500 per event, as long as the trip does not last more than 90 days.

Transport accident insurance offers compensation in case of accidents resulting in disability or death that you could experience as a passenger on a means of transportation. Insured benefits include compensation in case of disability or death of up to CHF 300 000 per event.

If you go missing during a trip or need to be physically rescued from an emergency situation, the costs for search, rescue and recovery will be covered up to CHF 60 000 per event.

What if your mobile phone suddenly breaks just after the warranty period expires? If you used your credit card for at least 60% of the purchase and it is worth at least CHF 100.– , the warranty cover will be extended automatically by 12 months at no extra cost. Under the warranty, replacement and repair costs are reimbursed up to CHF 2 000 per claim.

Did you find your newly purchased television at a better price at another Swiss vendor 14 days later? If you paid for at least 60% of your purchase with your card and the price difference is at least CHF 30.–, you will be reimbursed this difference up to CHF 2 000 per claim.
