In the event of a claim, you are obliged to limit the damage or loss as much as possible. In the event of theft, loss, damage or destruction to/of your luggage during carriage via public transport, please contact the carrier immediately to discuss how to proceed and to obtain written confirmation. You must also report any theft immediately to the local police and have a police report drawn up. Please also keep damaged items available until the claim is settled.
Send the claim form and the following documents to the insurer as soon as possible:
- The airline’s response to the refund request
- Police report
- List of the affected items with purchase receipts
- Repair invoice or confirmation of total loss
