Conditions of participation
This document is addressed to all our customers, regardless of the wording therein.
The promoter of the promotion and contest is Viseca Card Services SA, Hagenholzstrasse 56, 8050 Zurich, Switzerland (hereinafter: «Viseca»). The following companies commissioned by Viseca and Visa Europe are involved in the implementation of the contest: (1) D&K Sports Management GmbH, Gymelsdorfergasse 4/1, 2700 Wiener Neustadt, Austria (hereinafter: «D&K Sports Management»).
All natural persons who reside in Switzerland and have their own valid Visa credit card issued by Viseca at the time of participation and have received the E-Letter may participate in the promotion and contest. Participation is free. The promotion and contest start on 11.04.2023 at 00.01 CET and end on 10.05.2023 at 23.59 CET (closing date). Excluded from participation are employees of Viseca and its affiliated companies as well as employees working for companies and organisations involved in the promotion and contest.
The prizes are three travel vouchers (from Kuoni, DER Touristik Suisse AG, Herostrasse 12, 8048 Zürich) worth CHF 3,000.00 each. The prizes will be drawn among all correctly registered participants who have made at least five transactions at a physical point of sale abroad during the promotion or contest period.
In addition, the first 300 participants who have made five transactions with their Visa credit card at a physical point of sale abroad will each receive a SWISS voucher worth CHF 100.
Foreign transactions valid for the promotion and contest must be made at a point of sale located abroad and the participant must physically visit said point of sale. Transactions in foreign online stores do not count as a physical point of sale and are not counted towards the purpose of determining the required five foreign transactions (promotion and contest). Transactions at physical points of sale in Liechtenstein and Switzerland do not count towards the promotion and contest.
Participation takes place by registering via the button contained in the newsletter. By clicking the button, the participant accepts the conditions of participation in the promotion and contest.
The first 300 participants who have made at least five transactions at a physical point of sale abroad during the promotional period will receive the 300 SWISS vouchers in the mail, after the promotional period in early June 2023.
The draw for the three travel vouchers, each worth CHF 3,000, will take place among all validly registered participants in late May 2023.
Cash payment or exchange of prizes is not possible. No correspondence will be maintained about the promotion and contest. The legal process is excluded. Swiss law shall apply exclusively to the exclusion of the Vienna Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods and the conflict of laws. The place of jurisdiction is Zurich 1 with the reservation of mandatory places of jurisdiction.
The winners will be notified by D&K Sports Management by e-mail and the promotional and contest vouchers will be sent to the cardholder's mailing or e-mail address on file at Viseca. If the vouchers cannot be delivered, the claim to the prize will be forfeited.
Multiple participation as well as contest clubs and automatic entries via contest bots are not permitted. All types of organised interference, manipulation or the like in the promotion and prize draw, including attempts thereof, will result in the exclusion of all persons involved from the promotion and contest. Viseca may disqualify winners (even subsequently) in the event of non-compliance with the conditions of participation. The prize will only be awarded if all the requirements of these conditions of participation have been met, or it will be reclaimed if it becomes apparent after is has been awarded that the requirements have not been met.
Viseca reserves the right to cancel or terminate the promotion or contest at any time – in particular in the event of force majeure and/or if the contest cannot be carried out or continued for organisational, technical or legal reasons. In the event that the contest is cancelled or terminated in such a way, the participants have no claims against Viseca.
The participants expressly agree that Viseca may use the data provided by registering for the contest (i) to implement the promotion and contest, (ii) to create and evaluate customer, consumption and preference profiles in order to develop individualized products and services and (iii) for advertising purposes (e-mail address, etc.) and to pass it on to the participating and commissioned companies for these purposes. The winners' data may be used by Viseca for marketing purposes. Participants are entitled at any time to prohibit Viseca from further use of this data for advertising purposes by notifying Viseca in writing.
